My child experiences difficulties with Dutch, can you provide help?
Of course! Our experienced teachers can help building self confidence in using the language. Is it a problem for you to assist your child with homework for the Dutch language lessons? A Dutch native speaker can do that for you. Will your child be switching to a Dutch school soon, maybe it's a good idea to have a Dutch teacher to stand next to him/her for some time to help with the language. And so you can think of many more reasons to hire a Dutch teacher for your child.
Who are the teachers?
Nederlands voor Iedereen works with teachers experienced in working with international children and their parents. Mostly we provide (retired) Dutch teachers to help your child. But when a more playful or practical approach is needed, f.i. when a child is very young, we might choose to work with (high school) students.
Where do the lessons take place?
We mostly try to organize the lessons at your home. Some teachers will ask to bring your child to their house. It's also possible to decide on another location together with the teacher. In each separate case we will discuss with you what's the best option. If you prefer online lessons for your child, that can also be arranged.
How about the costs?
Lessons start at € 33,00 an hour for the youngest children (from age 5). Travel costs and parking costs are not included in this rate and have to be paid separately. The exact rate depends on several factors like the sort of assignment, the necessary preparation etc. All of this will be discussed with you during the intake. The fee has to be paid monthly in advance.
OK, now how to proceed?
If you think your child could do with a Dutch teacher, please click the information button and fill in the contact form. Nederlands voor Iedereen will call you to talk about the possibilities. If you decide to give it a try, we will first organize a free meeting with the teacher for you and your child. If that meeting turns out well for everyone, you can book lessons monthly in advance and take things step by step.
